These works of art were created to increase positive imagery of so-called “black” people and our great mystery. The intent is to show children, women, and men that our history will no longer be shown and told by people who intend to suppress who we truly are. We need to see more images of ourselves that reflect nothing but growth and uplift! No words-just images, so that the mind of the viewers will create words that resonate with them in relation to each image.
