The Illusion of 'I' and Other

The Illusion of 'I' and Other

This book exposes the reality of ‘I’ or the known self as nothing but a mythical affair concocted by the human mind. If one makes the effort to understand what is essentially communicated throughout this book, rather than merely trying to believe in it or just opposing it outright, it will become clear to the reader that ‘I’, the self-conscious entity/identity, ‘exists’ in thought only. That is the illusion, the dream referred to in the ancient Vedas. And because ‘I’ is only a dream, everything that is perceived by ‘I’ or is experienced by ‘I’ or proceeds forth from ‘I’ is a dream also. The world is dreamed by dreamers who call the dream reality. Awakening the human spirit from this illusory web of self-deception is the intent of the author. Of course the book alone won’t do it; it is the coming together of those who either already understand, in one form or another, and those who desire to understand that will finally set people free.
