Birds of Western America

Follow a young girl as she travels to visit her grandparents and is inspired to learn about birds from her bird watching grandfather in California. When she returns to Oregon, she starts learning the names of the birds around her and later on, when her family takes a trip to Washington state, she learns about some of the birds there as well. This book is meant to encourage kids and families to learn the names of the birds around them and to learn about birds in general.
