The Adventures of Penelope Cluck

I grew up on a Minnesota farm, and from my earliest memories we always had chickens. Most girls have a pet cat or dog, I however had chickens. I named them all and when they were chicks I would hold them and sing to them. When they grew up, they would come when I called them and happily let me carry them around everywhere. I still love chickens to this day and I even have a few in my backyard. They are still all named and are still my "pets with purpose," as I like to call them.
