Just Living with The Sun

This book is about foundations to maximize light and solar energy in urbanizations. Since human life began, light and heat of the sun are natural resources that have existed as fundamental factors that affect the existing level of well-being. The purpose of these regulations is to determine urbanization characteristics regarding extension, availability and the shape of facilities or buildings, in order to maximize light and solar power availability, with the least interferences of shade at a given time. This is for Central America and other regions among the northern and southern tropic hemispheres. Moreover, regulations must be compatible with other urban characteristics such as transportation, green areas, environmental rules, etc.
