The Radio Towers

This children's book tells a true story – it happened to me when I was probably around four years old. Back then we lived in Greer, SC, and at least once a week we would drive down Highway 29 to Greenville. I remember many times riding in the car at night with my parents and seeing the lights from the radio towers on top of Paris Mountain. One night, I saw something unusual …well, you’ll have to read to find out! Years later when I told this story to my children, I was surprised at how much they liked it, and how they asked me to tell it over and over again. I eventually drew pictures and wrote out the story which you get to see in the next few pages. Enjoy! Ralph Perrine
