The Memoirs of Angel King chronicles the experiences of an aspiring pop singer who searches to find true love. Six ex-boyfriends and eight years later, he is left questioning his sexuality and, if it will ever be possible to find love with another man.
It is a modern tale of a man’s journey as he battles heroically with his demons in a karmic sequence of recurring events. Finally, he conquers the enemy in a cathartic battle and he rises from the abyss of hell to meet God on a mountain top in Edinburgh.
The author serenades us with a colourful account of coming to terms with being gay and finding God in the 21st Century. Most notably it narrates a failed attempt at Reparative Therapy in an effort to cure his homosexuality as he jots down half a decade of celibacy.
An insightful reflection of an old fashioned boy with big dreams; the author takes the reader on a psychoanalytical trip down memory lane as he presses rewind to view his life.
The book is based on real life experiences.
