The Hand of Justice

Traumatised by the destruction of her village and its inhabitants, seventeen-year-old Mirai Bromall, already an orphan, must seek a new life. She finds it with a father-figure, who introduces her to a world of royalty, treachery and murder. Having established herself as the loyal agent of a Prince, Mirai then finds her world turned upside down once more, no longer knowing what to believe or whom to trust. Betrayed by her mentors, she sets out to find the truth for herself and finds much more, including love and a new purpose. But with threats mounting and civil war looming, can she survive long enough to fulfill that purpose?
