144 Lines

This new book of poetry, 144 Lines, is a continuation of two previous related volumes, those of Motherland and Poetry For A Child, each of which could have and likely will go on forever, given the nature of creative intelligence that speaks to them and to me, though it will be of no wonder to the 1 or 2 people who read my work (counting myself) that most of my work is related. The number 144 refers to "everybody and everything visible and invisible in Heaven and Earth", referring to the fullness of capacity and range of the influence and community of every human being at conception. The purpose of Life is to realize the most blissful God of our own existence and thereby the most easy, innocent, and natural devotion to that God or the endless expansion and boundless radiation of the greatest Happiness and Fulfillment of all Life in terms of each and every one.
