While there is a glut of translations of the Bible into English that are available, most published editions include only the books of the Protestant canon; those which include more, generally only include those books in the Catholic canon. In many cases, even when a translation of the Bible includes some of the books absent from the Protestant canon, most printed editions omit them. While none of the books in these shorter canons are bad at all, and many of the translations are quite good, this is somewhat unfortunate for those of us who are Orthodox, who wish also to study those books which our canons of scripture include, which the Protestant and Catholic canons do not.
This book attempts to fill that gap, by providing the missing texts.
The texts are taken from the King James Version and the Brenton translation.
