Acting out Penderwick chapters during recess at school was the way Jordan, Chiara, Julia, Rebecca and Maya would spend their time during the 2009 school year. So when school ended and summer vacation started, they decided to write their own version of a Penderwick book. Throughout the summer, each girl wrote their own chapters and they combined their work into this fun and exciting book.
