RDA Tauranga : the beginnings, 1974

ByReg Adams

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Riding for the Disabled Association in Tauranga, New Zealand, started in 1974. Some of the early people involved were Betty Blundell, Claude Hewlett and Reg Adams. From a bare maize field and borrowed horses, RDA has grown into a large complex with 13 therapy horses and sophisticated resources used by more than 100 people every week. This book has been written by one of the founders in an attempt to record and remember the early days and all the people who generously gave time, materials and money to this project 40 years ago.
