Silent Cries of a Godless Child

This is a book of poetry for all ages from all different walks of life. It has a little something for everyone with topics ranging from birth to death, with everything in between. There are several poems written specifically for the gay community, dealing with topics such as coming out, love lost and found, religion, etc. Being a Christian, I have been asked several times why I chose the title I did for this book. The truth is simply this, ever since I came to terms with my sexual orientation I have been made to feel like less of a human, less of a Christian because of who I love. My book is entitled "Silent Cries of a Godless Child" because I have been there and understand the suffering and loneliness that comes with being different in a world that tries to make us all the same. Whether you are gay, straight, or purple with pink pokka dots, we all feel lost and alone sometimes. The important thing to remember is that we are never alone!
