When his family was killed in an early bombing raid of Poland, Blackhawk dedicated his life to destroying the Axis powers and everything they stood for. Aiding Blackhawk are Andre, Chuck, Stanislaus, Hendrikson, Olaf and Chop Chop. Blackhawk and his crew fought in World War Two, and after the war ended, they continued traveling the world going wherever their help was needed. Many stories featured the artwork of masters of the day such as Reed Crandall and Chuck Cuidera. The series is still an immensely popular comic today!
