The Culture/Trojan line of Spicy pulps began in 1934 with Spicy-Detective Stories. It's popularity spawned four more “Spicy” titles, including Spicy Western Stories, SPICYMYSTERY and SPICY-ADVENTURE STORIES. One of the publishers connected to the Culture/Trojan group was none other than eventual cofounder of D.C. Comics, Harry Donenfeld. COLLECTED HERE ARE TWO ISSUES OF SPICY-DETECTIVE STORIES. They are from Volumes 13 #6 and Volume 16 #2. Decent scans of the Spicy Pulps are not easy to find. If you have access to some and are willing to share, please let me know.
