Toby Press published two issues of HE-MAN in 1954. HE-MAN was billed as a “REAL LIFE ADVENTURE MAGAZINE”. Real or not, the stories are written to thrill. There are sagas of big game hunting, tracking Nazi submarines, two-fisted police action, battling with sharks and much, much more. The covers for both issues were lavishly painted by Bernard Safran with interior art by Mike Sekowsky, Bob McCarthy, Mel Keefer and Jack Sparling.
