This version is condensed from the original, including the primary saint for each day in calendar order. Printed in 1887, it follows the pre-Vatican II calendar. Sadly, this book is not illustrated, but the stories of the saints are well-condensed: they are a good length without sacrificing too much detail. This book is a photographic reprint of the 1894 Edition by Benziger Brothers.
