The 1st Century Aramaic English Interlinear Bible- The Psalms, Proverbs & Ecclesiastes
This ebook may not meet accessibility standards and may not be fully compatible with assistive technologies.
This is an interlinear translation of The Aramaic Peshitta O.T. Psalms , Proverbs & Ecclesiastes(Aramaic was the language of Jesus & of 1st century Israel since the 7th century BC.) The Peshitta O.T., unlike the Peshitta N.T., is an ancient Aramaic translation of the original Hebrew Bible. Aramaic was used in Mel Gibson's film "The Passion of the Christ" to make the film as realistic & accurate as possible. This translation will surprise & thrill the reader with its power & inspiration coming from the Holy Spirit inspired words of King David & his son, King Solomon, translated into Aramaic, the sister language of Hebrew. I believe that The Peshitta OT is a 1st century work, based on its readings & also on many of the headings of the Psalms in ancient Aramaic mss., several of which appear to date the original text in the 1st century A.D. Each Aramaic word is printed adjacent to an English translation word. (6x9" size 164 pages B&W paperback)
