Locomotive Worm

Here is a daring book of unlikely poems. Entrenched in the traditions of prose poetry, Locomotive Worm turns sound into situation, seeking out rhythm and lyricism in images and in the situations that lie within them. Inspired by Julio Cortazar’s Rayuela, the collection also suggests a different chronology than the standard cover-to-cover one in the way it is paginated with multiple page numbers. As inventive as these deviations and quirks might be, they are a small part of the mixture. This cauldron of the sexually-driven and the absurd is held together by the voice of the poet, whose genuine and yet sardonic flavors spice the brew with his distinctive outlook.
