Abiding in the Fullness of God

There is a Scripture in Psalm 11:3 which reads as follows: If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? When God is our rock and our fortress, when He is our anchor and when He is our hope, then the challenges, the obstacles, the fears and the worry of this life pales. In the days of rain and in the days of sunshine, when we are faced with famine or feasting, God is our refuge, and under His wing we take shelter (Psalm 91) and we can know that nothing will separate us from His love (Romans 8:37-39). Indeed, we are wise to build upon the foundation of the Rock of Jesus, for in Him we find our strong footing, our hope, our redemption, and in Him we find our purpose. Yes, when we abide in Him (John 15) He shall surely abide in us! In abiding we shall then walk in Spirt and truth to fulfill the Great Commission.
