Ric Cafagna's Symphony No. 1 invokes the muse of a cubist reality: words painted as blocks of images fragmented, visceral dialectical intensities dissecting the whole to create hermetic dislocations resonating their ghosted identities down echoing pathways to render fleshly exteriorizations on and of abstract landscapes; thought-forms which reinterpret essence within surreal structures to illumine the fused constructs which frame entrenched preconceptions, to make new the eye of interpretation: each line possesses a meditative minimalism a newly formed music of retuned perception, within which the context of the whole weaves its vertiginous existence into the present awareness
