The Book of Church Order, commonly referred to as BCO, is part of the constitution of the Presbyterian Church in America, which is subject to and subordinate to the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, the inerrant Word Of God. The BCO is normally distributed by CDM in cooperation with the Stated Clerk. Given the size and regular changes made to the BCO, the entire edition is provided free online as well as printed in a three-ring binder. This edition was created for ministers and elders to use during Church ceremonies. It is portable and elegant, and the portions chosen are rarely changed by the General Assembly.
