The American criminal justice system appears to be creating violent criminals for profit. Inmates are turned loose on society without the job skills or mental health to live productive lives. Those who benefit from bilking the taxpayers are the employees of the system as well as the prison/industrial complex which has revived the concept of slave labor. “Justice for all” has been replaced with “guilty until proved wealthy”. U.S. prisons have become world class human rights violators. We are hiring so many police that the U.S. is in danger of devolving into a police state. America has become a fear society for Blacks, Hispanics, the mentally ill, the poor, whistle blowers and others who are disenfranchised. The main stream media and our elected officials, with rare exceptions, refuse to expose or even discuss the real sources of or the solution to the problem; they are described herein.
