THE USS WASP AND THE STEWART BROTHERS

ByRichard Baker

Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This is a historical fiction of the Second World War Wasp. The events of the USS Wasp CV7 and the Lansdowne, DD486 the convoy, all the ships mentioned as well as all the Japanese ships and officers are true. The events that transpired are true and correct. The exception to the truth is the Stewart Brothers, Raymond and William. I fit them in-between what actually transpired on those faithful days of September beginning on the 15th. 1942 one hundred and fifty miles Southeast of Cristobal Island as the Wasp was escorting transports carrying the 7th. Marine Regiment to Guadalcanal as reinforcements.
