The River of Bones

The action packed story of German loyalists living in Texas during the Civil War and their struggle to survive. The River of Bones sets the three Merzlang brothers who have immigrated to the Texas Hill country on a collision with history and each other. When the Texas hill country becomes part of the Confederacy, German immigrants must join a cause they despise or risk being branded as traitors. The Merzlang brothers have their own dark secrets and past sins each will have to answer for. The story moves these two opposing forces in a bloody confrontation that still resonates throughout the Hill Country of Texas.
