33 poems written between September 2022 and November 2023. Blues lyrics, assemblages of phrases found online, dedications to friends, two new Tao Te Ching paraphases, rhymes, free verse. Mostly light-hearted but not always. The title piece is tour de force appropriation of an article about urban rats. Also included is another in the "Coming Soon from Our Press" series, over-the-top blurbs for imaginary poetry collections. Richard Leach is an American poet and visual artist. His poetry has appeared in print in Rattle magazine, and in various web publications. He self-publishes collections of visual art and secular poetry. His sacred poetry, words for hymns and anthems, have been set to music by many composers and are widely published and sung. He lives in Stamford, Connecticut.
