This book of reflections explores how we build the gulfs that divide us. The gulf is everywhere; in our homes, in our neighborhoods, in our workplaces. It is not just over there. The gulf is in our hearts. It is every lie we have believed, every injustice we have ignored, every violation we have borne. The gulf is our broken heart. These reflections point to the problem, to the ways we manufacture the gulf through our divisive beliefs.
