Architect and Urban Planner Richard L. Thornton is best known today for his discoveries of ancient stone ruins and petroglyphs in the mountains of the State of Georgia, USA. However, those discoveries were made possible by unique experiences in that he had in Mexico, while a student at Georgia Tech and immediately thereafter, in Sweden. Since that time, he has been the Architect for literally hundreds of New Construction and Historic Preservation projects. This book begins in Mexico then continues through his diverse projects and experiences over five decades of professional practice.
