The Eternal Journals of Crispy Flotilla

“Really, as much as I wanted to say could have made a small book. I feel like I would like to keep a journal and then tear out the pages and send them to you...” This book was inspired by a letter I received after an absence of more than twenty years. I originally intended to continue to write these observations for as long as we were about, but I thought for certain it would be more years than it turned out to be. The author of the letter I received, excerpted above, passed away just a few years later. She was 49.
