Marie Bellamy, Memories of Another Age
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
Marie Bellamy was born in 1922, and this book records her memories of her life from the early years. Brought up in the mining villages of Wales, at a time when life was hard, she survived serious illness, working " in service", the second World War, and bringing up 5 children on her own.
Despite all that life has thrown at her, she retains a great sense of humour, terrific vitality, and is loved to bits by all her family.
This book is dedicated to Marie, and has been transcribed from her spoken memories.
When told of our intention to write this book she asked " why would anyone be interested in reading about my life? I'm only ordinary."
We will let you make your own mind up ..........
