Perspectives and Practice in Widening Participation in the Social Sciences (C-SAP Monograph 3)

The aim of the present volume is especially to inform the widening participation practice of social science departments. As well as providing an overview of national Widening Participation policies and practice, it seeks to deploy the analytical perspectives of social science in critically appraising aspects of these policies. Although primarily aimed at social scientists as teachers and researchers, the hope is that the volume should also interest those outside the social sciences who are concerned with widening participation.
