The Gifted

Sometime in the near future the world is ravaged by an epidemic it cannot stop. As technology grinds to a halt, the small town of Dawson in the Yukon territory, shielded from the worst of it by distance and isolation, finds that their teens are developing abilities, gifts, that give them abilities unheard of before. When the town is threatened by the coming of the Plunderers, the teens may be their only hope. But will the townsfolks fear of the unknown allow them to use them, or will they, too, by treated as outsiders in their own land?
