The Adventures of Trousers

THE ADVENTURES OF TROUSERS is the second novel in the Evansport Cats series about a family of cats gifted with extrasensory powers. Trousers, first introduced in MORTON THE TELEPATHIC CAT, has clairvoyant powers that enable him to predict danger. During a love wandering in the forest with Calico, Trousers has a premonition that they are in mortal danger. His fears are confirmed when they observe a rabid rabbit coming their way. Later, they spot a rabid dog wandering near White Home. Trousers, Calico and Morton combine their talents to try to alert all Evansport cats, dogs and humans to the danger of a possible rabies epidemic. After he is elected Leader of the Town Cats, he stops Butch and his gang from taking over Julio's Pier. Butch tries to get even by catnapping Calico and luring Trousers into a trap. Trousers and his friend Salty, the Ships Cat, must find a way to rescue Calico from Butch's claws - without getting snagged themselves.
