Lemmings on the Precipice

An event was about to unfold, so momentus to human history, that the fate of the world rest in the balance. Ideas would clash on the world stage, like the battles of the titans of Greek Gods, as the world awaited its outcome to know its fate. Fear fought with hope; national security fought with freedom; religion fought with science; nationalism fought with a new world order; propaganda fought with truth. Four friends struggled to change their fate, while others took on the onerous task of changing the fate of the world before it fell into the abyss, like lemmings on the edge of the precipice.
