Finding Peace in Times of Pain

The Bible teaches us that we live in a fallen world. In this imperfect world we must learn to cope with bitter disappointments, terrible tragedies, heartrending circumstances, and many hard providences from God that we may never be able to understand this side of eternity. There are many tears that seem impossible to wipe away from those with a broken heart. But I have found over the years that the Word of God is the best comfort to God’s children who are going through times of sorrow and suffering. Once we pass through the fire and the water we come out with a wealth of treasures.
