The Piper o' the Glen

What if the torture, and brutality of medieval Britain, and the most cruel and ruthless dictators, the world has ever known, were actually the work of an Alien culture, marooned in Scotland in the early 1600’s? This is the premise behind “The Piper O’ the Glen”. The first of three books that make up the Piper Trilogy. The Piper O’ the Glen recounts the tale of an alien civilization forced to flee their dying planet, Azorea. The story is told from their perspective. The reader will recognize many historical events, woven into the fabric of the story, events such as, the massacre of Glencoe, the Jacobite uprising, the massacre of Clan Lamont, Oliver Cromwell’s abolition of the monarchy, and many others. Integral to the story, is the charm and feel of the Scottish Highlands. It is set in the northern Caithness, Scotland, but eventually encompasses the whole of Britain.
