Impact of religious journals on the Hmar tribe in Manipur

A study of the Impact of Religious Journals on the Hmar Tribe in the Indian state of Manipur (India) is the first study conducted to find out the tribes' perception of religious journals and how it has changed their life over the years. The Hmars in South Manipur were introduced to Christianity in the year 1910 by Watkin Roberts, a Welsh missionary. One of the major finding of the study is that majority of the Hmars do not believe in all the contents of religious journals.
