hoi polloi - A Literary Journal for the Rest of Us
Usually printed in 3 - 5 business days
This literary anthology was a collaborative effort of writers representing all walks of life and circumstances. From aspiring writers of raw talent to gifted writers of international stature, this is a true representative slice of the literary hoi polloi (the masses)… sharing a common interest in writing and a spirit of helping others. The journal is divided into three sections: Literary submissions; The Writing Craft; All Things Local. The Literary submissions section features fiction, poetry, non-fiction, essays and a play. In The Writing Craft, a number of authors share their thoughts and opinions on writing and publishing. Most of the authors are self-published. In All Things Local, we feature a profile of Marshfield, Massachusetts and the Sowing Seeds charity. All proceeds from this journal are generated for this organization. This publication encourages individuals to pursue the writing craft and challenges the ‘writer in all of us’ to become more actively involved in literary pursuits.
