The Dawning of Darkness Preview

June 3rd 1868, Anahuac Texas. Former Texas Ranger Captain Jesse Butler Garman is tending his expansive ranch until he’s suddenly summoned back to service. In Galveston, Vevi Belle is running her house, The Belle, but is looking for more. When they meet, they are taken on an adventure that spans the eastern portion of Texas all the while pursued by supernatural forces looking to increase their hold on the mortal plane. The Dawning of Darkness is set in East Texas after the Diablo wars and the war between the states. Some of the characters names might be recognizable, but everything else is like nothing you’ve read in history books. This is a story of good versus evil and love versus hate, but it is more than just an open and close tale. The adventure advances toward one of two goals: Good prevailing and saving the world or The creatures of The Void (called simply They) making their way into the mortal universe and corrupting everything they touch.
