Comparison of NASA and the Chinese Space Administration

NASA was created by President Eisenhower, partly in response to the Soviet's launch of the first artificial satellite Sputnik I the year before. The China National Space Administration is the national space agency of the People's Republic of China established by approval of the Eight National People's Congress, where in its second session of this Congress Mao Zedong stated "We want to make artificial satellites."
