Catholicism on Trial Series, Trial #4 - The Bible and the Divinity of Jesus

Without the benefit of “Revelation” we could not know of a loving God. In fact, those who assert that “All paths lead to the same Supreme Being” are in opposition to what Jesus Christ has revealed. He said He is the ONLY WAY TO THE FATHER. These people usurp the loving face of God that has been revealed to us through Jesus Christ and apply it to the face of a “nameless Supreme Being”. And it is the height of “supreme arrogance” to do such a thing. It is an attempt to justify sin so they can have redemption on their terms. And these people will tell us that Jesus never actually said: "I AM GOD" If it can be proven that Jesus actually said that He is God, and if Scripture itself confirms the same, many people will find themselves standing in front of the Lord God Himself and be faced with a decision to receive His mercy or His judgment. There would be no other option.
