THE RUBY QUEEN

This magical story is about a fantastic adventure where the Story-Teller called Slumber-Jack and a Unicorn name Heros have to go and rescue the Ruby Queen from the cave of the Grumble-Ghost. The Ruby Queen is the only one who can open the Ruby-Shells which have inside them Sweet- Dreams, which she sends down so that children have sweet dreams instead of nightmares, which is what the Grumble-Ghost likes to send to children at night. The journey takes the brave pair on a climb up the different levels in the land of the Tree-Dwellers who, if they don’t like the story Slumber-Jack tells, will eat them. This is the story of Slumber-Jack and Heros’ struggle to get to the top level and so face the Grumble-Ghost and rescue the Ruby Queen. This is a tale of stories within a story, with pictures to colour and the book is full of excitement and danger which will keep the mind gripped till its very end.
