accounting for nothing

Using neither words nor numbers, this book employs a language of marks created by pen and ink blips and dashes, scratches and scribbles - with occasional characters from an asemic font peppered in. The pages were created through a process of adding and subtracting, making marks accounts for themselves although they account for nothing else. Are these ledger pages legible? There’s more to reading than words.
