Fun to read? Yes. May we all carry guns, like in the Old West? Maybe yes, maybe no. You'll have an opinion after you read this book. First, let's decide about the herbivore men in Japan, and how they approach women. And how the women feel about them. And let's learn about Gloob and Mog, and how they managed thousands of years ago, and let's consider whether or not men accept being called a "lousy coward" for refusing to "draw their guns." It could happen today if we all had guns, but many, including one of the authors, feel that carrying a gun is a wise idea, and with his training, he doesn't really have to unless his opponent is nine feet tall, and even then he can handle things smoothly.
