Checkered, Not White: The Mike Hayes Story. The inspiring story you will find within these pages is entirely true. It is the story of one young man's courage, strength, victory, and Faith in God. As he battled through years of living with Crohn's Disease and eventually cancer of the small intestine, Mike never gave up his will and desire to live. He never lost sight of what is most important in life... that we do God's work during whatever time we have here on His earth. Even though Mike lost his battle with cancer, he certainly ended his life with Victory!
