BLISS

Mariana "Marnie" Milton, robot babysitter, wakes up 10,000 years after the end of the world, to find herself in the belly of B.L.I.S.S., a giant whale flying through space. Her programmed instinct is to reunite with the little boy for whom she cared, whose family fled Earth soon before the cataclysm. Marnie, with her computerised companion Ghost, find themselves incarcerated by Bliss's alien crew, led by cruel Captain Cael, who've their own, vengeful reasons for finding Earth's human escapees. Sci-fi with a sad heart.
