Child Labour and Education In Belize: Causes, Effects and Implications

An analysis of the evidence on child labour and education in Belize, exploring the impact on the country’s economic development via Human Capital Theory, and on its Human Development via the Capability Approach. The implications for education and development policy in Belize and recommendations for further research are then discussed.
