A Life Cycle

In my architecture studio, I was assigned a project and told to work with layers and organic/biological systems. My end result was this flip book of a tree growing from a seed only to eventually be cut down in its prime, left to be a stump of what it was. The way I viewed "layers" for this project was in the motion of the pages and the individual pictures which make up the book as a whole.
