Taverner's Bible - vol 1

This is a facsimile reproduction of the 1539 Taverner's Bible. Taverner revised the Matthew Bible of 1537. Though subsequent Bibles did not use Taverner's work, this is nevertheless an important part of English Bible History. Please note that this facsimile is made from scans of the original. There may be some text loss in the gutters - mostly affecting the marginal notes in the center of the book. While not perfect, this is a readable copy of another old Bible.
