Moon Shadows

'Moon Shadows’ starts off with an almost bluesy four bar introduction. But don’t let it fool you; this is a jazz waltz in the style of Toots Thielemans unforgettable ‘Bluesette’, and maybe it also reflects some influence from Barrios pieces like ‘Oración’ and ‘Medallión Antiguo’. Composed in two parts, plus introduction and an ending, ‘Moon Shadow’ leans heavily upon the chords from the box of alterations. If you have not played chords like these before, you might need some extra practising here to get familiar with these shapes.
